* 16/07/08 - just to make a mockery of the last post ... thanks to Simon (drummerboy) and Pete (powerhouse) for filling in on sticks for two shows this week! Marcus is currently in Noo Yawk rather than Noo Cross.

* 15/03/08 - ..... big welcome to Marcus as our new drummer ... at least for the forseeable!

* 28/02/08 - sad news :( Paul, our drummer of about 15yrs., has decided to call it a day. We have postponed some gigs, but will be playing on Thurs 6th March with Marcus Moron behind the kit in order to mark Drunken John's B-day and Neil's 10yr. anniversary in the band. We'll be back in May with a new drummer .... hopefully!!

* 09/07/06 - check the new issue of METAL HAMMER for a great piece on us in the 'Incoming' new bands section ... we are the 'hardest punk band since the sex pistols' .. apparently ;) Well done us!

* 14/02/06 - Smell the Glove is here! The album arrived today, I am surrounded by boxes! Off to the distribution company tomorrow to get sent to the record shops.

*11/01/06 - the LP 'Boy Hero' is finished! It is off this week for mastering and pressing, and release date in the shops via Plastic Head distibution is MONDAY 20th MARCH!

* 11/01/06 - we have shot a video for 'Whole Lotta Hate' from the new LP ... it should be finished this week. Watch this space.

* 25/10/05 - we have taken delivery of a new compilation from the US that has two of our tracks on it .... we will be giving these out FREE at our gig on the 10th November - be there!

* 25/10/05 - thanks to everyone that saw us play as the 'Cocktail Monkeys' on John Peel day ... an 'interesting' line-up, but a lot of fun!

20/09/05 - the first 5 tracks for the new album are now recorded (although not mixed) and are sounding pretty good! We are back in studio in December to do another 7/8 tracks to finish off the album ... due out after Xmas!

* 10/08/05 - ALBUM DEAL! The Cherry Reds will be releasing a new full-length through POSITIVE IMPACT RECORDS in February '06, with distribution through Pro-Sonic/Plastic Head. Recording should be done in late-August and December. Get in!

* 10/08/05 - there has been a slight delay on the split EP with DUMMY RUN. Everything is recorded and mastered, so should be available when we can agree the artwork and send it off for pressing - hopefully very soon!

* 12/04/05 - another great review for 'Concrete & Clay' - this time from www.damnpest.com (cheers, lads!) - check it out!

* 06/04/05 - The gig at the GYC, Guildford (15/04/04), has unfortunately been postponed till Summer ... so we have a few weeks off whilst recording.

* 29/12/04 - Good news! We will be doing a split mini-album next year with mates and awesome band DUMMY RUN! We are hoping to do 5 tracks each, and be recorded in time for an April release.

* 29/12/04 - neil will be doing a Ramones-tribute charity show in Burgess Hill on Fri 4th Feb (and in march in Brighton) with the usual Pissed Resistance/Morons crew as the MORONES ... all in a good cause - be there!
